An album, inspired by prophetic worship sessions at Revive in Buckhurst Hill and at St. Mary's in Loughton. As I led worship there, the songs gradually came to me, sometimes only a few lines at a time, or a few chords. The songs are being birthed in an atmosphere of worship.
It's our simple heart response that counts. Fulfil the commandment to love the Lord with all your mind, with all your might and with all your strength, and love your neighbour as yourself - Three dimensional community, the vertical love of creator God towards creation and then a working out of this on the horizontal, caring for each other. It was meant to be like this in the beginning. Jesus is the bridge. Let our hearts be revived and we will see revival spread.
I was inspired by Psalm 23 to write this song. It's really a song about never being on our own. When we feel that things are going wrong or there's no-one to talk to, reach out and take the Lord's hand. When you are in a valley, don't despair; place your hand in our heavenly father's hand.
Inspired by the story of the prodigal son, If the path you are walking is not right, change it. This song is about finding the right path. If you've moved away from the straight path, get back on it - get back on track - I hope this song inspires you.
